The Faces of Deportation | How an ICE Raid in Mississippi Upended a Family’s Future

( ratings)

After living in the U.S. for 18 years, a father is swept up in the largest workplace raid in ICE history; but that didn’t stop Fredy, who worked at a chicken processing facility and is originally from Guatemala, from celebrating his daughter’s quinceñera. Although celebrations continue for some families others have been deported without a say. Those who are left behind experience this feeling of freedom but entrapment. There is angst in the air as at any moment the only answer viewed for Fredy and those who were picked up in the raid is definitive deportation.
